Jayme Bilafer Jayme Bilafer has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

RINDGE, N.H. (April 20, 2010) – Sophomore center fielder Jayme Bilafer (Concord, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University softball team has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on April 18, as announced Monday by the conference office.

Over four games in a 2-2 week for the Ravens, Bilafer hit .500 (5-for-10) with two doubles and scored four runs. She slugged .700 and walked twice on her way to a .583 on-base percentage. In the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against Merrimack, Bilafer hit 2-for-3 and scored two runs. She followed that with a 3-for-3 performance with two doubles and a run scored in the first game of a Thursday doubleheader against American International.

On the season, Bilafer is second on the team with a .327 batting average (34-for-104). She has hit nine doubles, driven in 10 runs and scored 19 times, which is a team-leading figure. Bilafer has walked seven times, dropped down a sacrifice bunt and stolen five bases in five attempts. Her slugging percentage is .413, her on-base percentage is .369 and she has made just one error in 53 chances while starting all 31 games in center field for Franklin Pierce.

The Ravens (13-18, 8-10 Northeast-10) return to the field on Wednesday, April 21 when they host Southern New Hampshire in a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Rindge.
