Career Statistics (TFRRS)

As a Senior in 2016: Competed in one meet for the Ravens...Ran a 5k time of 17:18.5 to finish 55th at the season-opening Mount St. Mary's Duals on 9/2.

As a Junior in 2015: Joey competed in four races for the Ravens...He placed 23rd at the Philadelphia Metropolitan Cross Country Invitational (9/12) with a time of 30:54.4...He also ran at Roger Williams (9/5) and finished 35th in the 5k race with a time of 17.28.7...At home during the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup (10/16), Joey placed 54th with a time of 17 minutes flat...In the Northeast-10 Championships (10/25) he placed 67th with a time of 27:29.9.

As a Sophomore in 2014: Souza competed in six races for the Ravens...at NEIAAA Cross Country Championship 8k  (10/11) running in a time of 27:47.1 and placing 144th...at Northeast-10 preview 8k cominng in with a time of 31:09.9 and earning 6th place...Northeast-10 (11/9) 8k finishing with a time of 30:15.8 and earning the 62nd spot. 

As a Freshman in 2013: Competed in five races for the Ravens...Made his collegiate debut at the Roger Williams Invitational, where he finished 69th in a time of 18:60.0 (5k) on 9/7...Competed at the NEICAAA New England Championship, where he finished 205th in a time of 29:27.8 (8k) on 10/12.

Before Franklin Pierce: Four-year letterwinner in cross country, as well as both indoor and outdooe track & field at West Bridgewater (Mass.) High School.

Personal: Son of Joseph and Donna Souza...A health sciences major...Has a sister, Danielle.
