Great Day for Minors at Larry Ellis Invitational
PRINCETON, N.J. (April 17, 2015)- Sophomore Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) represented the Franklin Pierce University men's track team Friday afternoon at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University.
Minors competed in the 800 meters and finished 28th out of 98 with a time of 1:51.90. His time placed him as the top Division II finisher of the meet.
The time is also the fastest in the Northeast-10 so far this year and now ranks 18th in the nation. His time met the NCAA Championship provisional qualifying standard in the event as well.
The men's track team returns to action on Saturday, April 18th at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass.
