Northeast-10 Conference Men's Tennis Weekly Report

EASTON, Mass. (April 27, 2021) -- Graduate student Kevin Denecheau (Artigueloutan, France) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player and Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on April 25, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the Conference office.

Denecheau was a perfect 4-0 on the week, as he went 2-0 at second singles and 2-0 at second doubles. In singles play, he posted a 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at Saint Michael's on Tuesday and a 6-3, 6-0 win against Bentley on Thursday. In doubles play, he teamed with Ivan Bernal for a 6-0 win at Saint Michael's and a 6-2 win against Bentley.

On the season, Denecheau is 6-1 at second singles and 6-1 at second doubles as well.

For his part, Bernal was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll. He also went 4-0 on the week, with a 2-0 mark at third singles and the two wins at second doubles with Denecheau. At third singles, Bernal posted a 6-2, 6-4 win at Saint Michael's on Tuesday and a 5-7, 7-6 (3), 6-3 win against Bentley on Thursday.

The Ravens are in action on Tuesday, as they travel to Southern New Hampshire for an NE10 Championship semifinal.
