Northeast-10 Conference Tennis Weekly Report (PDF)

MANSFIELD, Mass. (October 8, 2019) – Senior Yuval Barak (Zicron Ya’akov, Israel) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Oct. 6, as announced on Tuesday by the Conference office.

In a 1-1 week for the Ravens, Barak won all four matches he participated in, all of which came on Friday, when Franklin Pierce took on Babson and Connecticut College. Against Babson, Barak was part of an 8-6 win at first doubles, before chalking up a 7-6 (6), 6-2 win at first singles. Later, against Connecticut College, he was again a part of an 8-6 victory at first doubles and then battled to a tense, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (2), 1-0 (10-8) win at first singles.

The Ravens are back in action later on Tuesday, when they travel to Coast Guard for a non-conference match at 3:30 p.m. in New London, Conn.
