Northeast-10 Conference Tennis Weekly Report (PDF)

MANSFIELD, Mass. (February 25, 2020) – Sophomore Preston Gordon (Essex Junction, Vt.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending on Feb. 23, as announced on Tuesday by the Conference office.

In the team’s only action last week, Gordon was victorious at both first doubles and second singles as the Ravens opened their NE10 season with a win at Saint Michael’s. Gordon teamed with Yuval Barak for a 7-6 (2) win at first doubles and followed up with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 win at second singles.

The Ravens (4-5) return to the court on Saturday, Marcy 7, when they travel to Nichols for a non-conference tri-match. Franklin Pierce will face the host Bison, as well as Springfield, at the Pomfret School in Pomfret, Conn.
