Pat Gilhuly Named to Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll

RINDGE, N.H. (April 18, 2012) – Sophomore Pat Gilhuly (Killingworth, Conn.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's tennis team has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on April 15, as announced Monday by the Conference office.
In a 2-1 week for the Ravens, Gilhuly amassed a 5-1 record over six matches, including 3-0 at first doubles and 2-1 at first singles. He teamed with Ben Brewer to pick up wins at first doubles in each of the team's three matches. On Monday at American International, the duo breezed to an 8-2 win; on Wednesday at Bentley, they squeaked out an 8-6 win; and on Friday at Assumption, they picked up an 8-5 victory.
Gilhuly also notched wins in first singles on Monday at AIC and Friday at Assumption to lead the Ravens to wins in both matches. At AIC, he dropped the first set before rallying for a 4-6, 6-0 (10-4) (tiebreak) victory, while at Assumption, he posted a 7-5, 6-1, straight-sets triumph.
