Mens Tennis Shutout At Le Moyne, 9-0
Ravens back in action Tuesday against Stonehill
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (April 5, 2009) –
The Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team was shutout
on Sunday afternoon, 9-0, in Northeast-10 Conference play at Le
Moyne.

Noguiera (Dourados, Brazil) had among the strongest showings
of the day for the Ravens, but he was defeated, 3-6, 7-6 (8-6),
10-7, by Le Moyne freshman Daniel Sullivan (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn).
Noguiera also teamed with freshman Sam Aubin (Manchester, N.H./Manchester
Central) and hung close but fell, 8-5, in doubles play to
Sullivan and freshman Brian Rice (Syracuse, N.Y./Stonehill).
Sullivan and Rice led five Le Moyne players posted wins in both
doubles and singles as the Dolphins swept their way to the 9-0
victory.
The Ravens (1-7, 1-6 Northeast-10) return to the court on Tuesday,
April 7, when the host Stonehill in a Northeast-10 Conference match
at 3 p.m. in Rindge, N.H. Le Moyne (6-9, 4-5 Northeast-10) returns
to action on April 7 at home against American International.
