As a Freshman in 2008-09: Recorded a 2-2 singles record and an 0-4 mark in doubles play...Played in his first collegiate match, dropped an 8-6 doubles decision and a 7-5, 1-6, 11-9 singles match against Southern New Hampshire on 9/21...Posted a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 singles victory at Saint Michael's on 10/5...Picked up a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 singles win at Colby-Sawyer on 10/11.

Ranked as high as No. 2 in the state while playing four years of
tennis at Brattleboro (Vt.) Union High School...Left as the
school's all-time leader in matches won...Team captain as a
senior...Garnered academic honors and All-Conference honors all
