Bryant Drops Franklin Pierce, 9-0
SMITHFIELD, R.I. (April 6, 2007) - Bryant University notched a 9-0 victory over Franklin Pierce in Northeast-10 Conference men's tennis action this afternoon.
Freshman Dylan Whiting (Florence, Mass.) led the way for Bryant as he notched a 6-3, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles after combining with classmate Matt Shephard-Lupo (West Boothbay Harbor, Maine) for an 8-3 triumph at No. 1 doubles.
Franklin Pierce (1-5, 1-5 NE-10) returns to action on Saturday when it faces Pace University in Hartford, Conn., at noon. Bryant (6-5, 5-1 NE-10) hosts Southern New Hampshire University tomorrow at noon.
