Lazarus, Morgan and Szpakowski Receive Northeast-10 Recognition

 RINDGE, N.H. (April 23, 2004) - Three members of the Franklin Pierce men's tennis team were named Northeast-10 All-Conference by the Conference office this afternoon.

Junior co-captain Maciej Szpakowski (Cieszyn, Poland/Mattituck (N.Y.)) and senior J.P. Morgan (Hampton Bays, N.Y./Hampton Bays) earned a spot on the First Team All-Conference squad at no. 3 doubles. The pair finished the season unbeaten in the Northeast-10 at 8-0, with a 9-1 record overall.

Junior Arun Lazarus (Bradenton, Fla./Bayshore) was named Third Team All-Conference at no. 2 singles with a 5-3 record in the NE-10, 7-7 overall, while Szpakowski also earned Third Team recognition as he finished with a 9-5 record in the League at no. 3 singles, 11-8 overall.

Franklin Pierce ended the 2004 regular season with an 8-11 overall record, 7-3 in the Northeast-10.
