RINDGE, N.H. (10/25/2023) -- The No. 1 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce Ravens cruised to a 4-0 win over rivals Saint Anselm College Wednesday night, extending their win streak and their 2023 season record to 13-0. The Ravens had four different goal scorers with Caleb Williams (Attleboro, Mass) opening the door for the Ravens offense and was later followed by Aaron Sanchez(A Coruña, Spain), Alvaro Rey Mira (Cabanas, Spain), and Youness Addar (Castellon, Spain). Jeronimo Ferri (Valencia, Spain) tallied two assists in the game for the Ravens, helping set up both Williams and Addar.

FPU scoring started early in the 11th minute when Ferri on a low cross found Williams and with a quick strike put it in the bottom left corner to give the Ravens the early lead, which they would not relinquish. Three minutes later, graduate student Aitor Cuenca Retuerto(Bilbao, Spain) stole possession back for the Ravens and threaded a beautiful cross that found the foot of Sanchez which then found the back of the net for the second goal of the game for the Ravens. Scoring would then be on pause until the 49th minute when on a corner kick, the ball was kept off the goal line briefly by a Hawk defender but rolled to the feet of Alvaro Rey Mira to clean up the mess and net the third Raven goal. The Ravens final goal wouldn't come until the 79th minute where yet again Ferri lofted a pass only Youness Addar could reach and finished the volley shot into the back of the net, sealing the 4-0 win.

Diego Montoyo Casillas(Cuernavaca, Mexico) (8-0-0) picked up his fourth clean sheet of the season and didn't face a single shot.

David Hood (4-5-3) started in net and takes the loss facing five shots and saving two. Alejandro Correal closed out the game between the posts making one save on two shots.
