RINDGE, N.H. (September 19, 2016) – Franklin Pierce men's soccer midfielder Jacob Blixt (Borrby, Sweden) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week Monday afternoon by the conference offices. This is the second time in three weeks Blixt has earned top rookie honors.

In a 3-1 victory over NE-10 opponent Saint Michael's, Blixt had a hand in all three Ravens goals. He chalked up three assists constantly finding his teammates open for scores throughout the contest. A few days later at Stonehill, the Swede added his fifth goal of the season in the 53rd minute when he deposited his own rebound into the cage.

Blixt currently leads the NE-10 in total points (14), ranks tied for second in goals (5), second in assists (4) and second in shots (21).

Teammates Jadel Poon-Lewis (Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago) and Marius Preber (Jessheim, Norway) were selected to the Weekly Honor Roll for their performance this past week.

The Ravens look to make it five straight wins they welcome conference foe American International to campus on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for their first match of a three game homestand.
