As A Junior (2010): Named to the NE-10 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll ... appeared in 19 matches with 11 starts ... was part of a defensive unit which ranked second nationally in team goals against average and 12th in shutout percentage ... scored one goal on the season and it was extremely important as it kick-started Franklin Pierce's rally in a 5-1 win over Merrimack (11/2) in the first round of the NE-10 Tournament ... it marked just the second goal of his collegiate career ... started in the back versus Bentley (11/7) in the NE-10 Championship match, which Franklin Pierce won 1-0 to claim the title.

As A Sophomore (2009): NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll ... appeared in 19 games with 12 starts ... recorded four shots, including one on goal ... part of a defensive unit which produced 10 shutouts, which ranked second in the NE-10. 2009 Statistics

As A Freshman (2008): Appeared in 19 matches and started four.  Was part of Franklin Pierce defense that posted 9 shutouts (2nd Northeast 10) and gave up 1.09 goals per match (5th).  Netted one goal (a match winner) and dished five assists (10th NE-10) for a total of seven points on the season.  Made collegiate debut against #14 LeMoyne (9/9).  Made first career start the next match at #3 Lynn University (9/11).  Recorded first career point by dishing out an assist in the 5-1 win over the College of St. Rose (9/16).  Netted match winning goal and first career goal in a 2-1 win over St. Anselm (10/1).  Dished out the match winning assist in a 2-1 overtime win over Southern Connecticut in NE-10 Conference Tournament play (11/2).

Before Franklin Pierce: 2008 honors graduate of Punahou School. Served as team captain for coach David Trifonovitch. Earned first team ILH honors. Team captured back-to-back Hawaiian State Championships. Earned honors for chemistry, while taking Advanced Placement courses in history and European History. Played club soccer with Ikepono for 11 years. Served as team captain.

Personal: Son of Jennifer and Larry Busto...Has two younger sisters: Samantha and Alex...Father Larry played baseball at La Salle University...A management major and European history minor ... will work as an officer for the University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during the 2010-11 year.
