Northeast-10 Ice Hockey Weekly Report (PDF)

RINDGE, N.H. (February 6, 2017) – Junior forward Jonathan Haun (Buffalo, N.Y.) of the Franklin Pierce University men's ice hockey team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on Feb. 5, as announced on Monday afternoon by the Conference office. In addition, freshman forward Alex Lester (Methuen, Mass.) has been named the league's Rookie of the Week.

Haun piled up eight points as the Ravens poured in 17 goals in a 2-0-0 week. He did most of his damage in Wednesday night's 11-0, non-conference win at Post, when he collected five points on three goals and two assists. Haun followed up with a goal and two assists for three points in Saturday night's 6-1, NE10 win at Southern New Hampshire.

For his part, Lester snagged four points on the week, with a goal and three assists. At Post, he scored once and dished out two assists, before chipping in an assist at SNHU as well.

The Ravens return to the ice on Saturday, Feb. 11, when they return home to face Assumption in an NE10 contest and the team's home-ice finale. Opening faceoff is set for 8 p.m. at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena in Winchendon, Mass.
