LEBANON, Penn. (4/25/23) – After a rebounding effort in the second round, the Franklin Pierce men's golf team improved by two positions to place 17^th out of a 25-team field at the NCAA DII Atlantic/East Regional Preview, hosted by California University of Pennsylvania. The event was held at the Par-72, 7026-yard Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

After shooting a 317 on day one of the event, the Ravens improved their situation by 10 strokes on day two, shooting a 307 to finish with a team card of 624 (317-307), or 48-over-par.

Atop the Raven leaderboards was senior Michael Sosik (Fiskdale, Mass.), who finished tied for 24^th as he carded a 157 (76-75) across the two rounds, improving by one stroke on day two. Right at Sosik's heels was junior Thomas Hickey (Moultonborough, N.H.), who placed tied for 31^st with a card of 152 (76-76) with a consistent score of 76 in each of the rounds.

Sophomore Peter Wurszt (Wilbraham, Mass.), fresh off his tournament win last week, was the final Raven to crack the top-100 individually, as he finished tied for 70^th with a 159 (79-80) performance.

Franklin Pierce men's golf will now await the release of updated NCAA DII Regional Polls, which will unveil if any individual players, or the team in its entirety, will qualify for the Regional Championship on May 11th-13th.
