ORLANDO, Fla. (3/28/23) – The Franklin Pierce University men's golf team completed the Golden Knights-Orlando Invitational as the second place squad in the overall team standings, shooting a team card of 592 (+16) through the two-day event hosted by College of Saint Rose at the 5,801-yard, par-73 Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.

Five total teams participated on the men's side, including four Northeast-10 squads for a compiled field of 30 golfers. 

Freshman Seth Saffell (Castro Valley, Calif.) topped the Raven leaderboards, individually claiming 2^nd in the event with a 145 (72-73) performance. Two other Ravens finished in the top-five range, as junior Thomas Hickey (Moultonborough, N.H.) tied for third with a 146 (71-75) card, while senior Michael Sosik (Fiskdale, Mass.) tied for fifth after shooting a 147 (72-75) through the two rounds.

The FPU men's golf team will now turn its attention to the upcoming AIC Spring Invitational on Monday, April 3rd and Tuesday, April 4th. at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
