HANOVER, N.H. (September 18, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University men's golf team traveled east on Monday to participate in the Penman Fall Invitational hosted by Northeast-10 Conference school Southern New Hampshire University at the Hanover Country Club.

Currently, the Ravens are in sixth place out of 14 squads with a 286 (+10) showing. Post University is the clubhouse leader as they are even (276) through their first 18 holes. Their in-state rivals SNHU stands in second at 277 (+1) and Le Moyne College is in third at 279 (+3). Franklin Pierce is only 10 strokes behind Post for the top spot.

Freshman Dylan Plis (Camillus, N.Y.) and team captain Tom Arisco (Cheshire, Conn.) have been the Ravens best golfers through the first round. They both are tied for 10th place at 70 (+1). Plis leads the field of golfers in total pars (17). Keeton Foster (Spofford, N.H.) turned in a 72 (+3) scorecard from the first position while Sam Myers (Colchester, Vt.) and Liam Donohue (Vernon, Conn.) posted 74 (+5) and 75 (+6) scores.

Franklin Pierce hopes to climb the standings tomorrow with their final round of golf.
