Before Franklin Pierce: Played varsity golf for four years, and varsity ice hockey for two… won sportsmanship award in golf three years in a row… named assistant captain and won the coaches award senior year for hockey… scored his first career hat trick on senior night for hockey… named co-captain for the golf team his senior year… was also captain of his bantam hockey team that competed in nationals.
