WILSON, N.C. (March 15, 2016) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's golf team finished in a tie for 12th place at the Barton Intercollegiate on Tuesday, with a total two-day score of 633 (+57), after finishing the second day with a score of 311 (+167). Senior Travis Landry (Loudon, N.H.) led the Ravens on Tuesday, shooting a 75 (+3) on day two at Wilson Country Club.

Senior Nick Adjutant (Rochester, N.H.) shot a consistent 78 (+6) both days for a total score 156 (+12). Senior Brad Auclair (Cumberland, R.I.) was just three strokes Adjutant on the second day, shooting an 81 (+9) for an overall score of 158 (+14) to finish in a tie for 42nd. Landry's 75 brought him to an overall finish of 159 (+15) over the two days.

Sophomore Taylor Simpson (Londonderry, N.H.) improved on day two, shooting a 77 (+5) and posting an overall score of 164 (+20). Sophomore Tom Arisco (Cheshire, Conn.) posted a score of 85 (+13) to total 168 (+24) after the two days.

Southern New Hampshire University took first and second place individually, as Jake Nutter finished at 146 (+2) and Matt Paradise matched with a 146 (+2) of his own. The two were joined in a playoff by Mount Olive's Brady Hollenbacher, with Nutter ultimately prevailing. SNHU took home the team title as well.

The Ravens return to the greens on Saturday, April 9, for the Kutztown Spring Invitational.
