BREWSTER, Mass. (October 27, 2014) – Freshman John Abbott (Higganum, Conn.) set the tone for the future on Monday, as the Franklin Pierce men's golf team shot lights out for the second consecutive day. Both Abbott and the team finished third in the individual and team scoreboards, as Abbott finished his tournament shooting a 79 (+7) for a two day total of 73/79/152 (+8), as the fall season wraps up for the Ravens.

The team low score on the day came from freshman Hunter Byram (Coventry, Conn.), who shot a 76 (+4), and finished his tournament tied for 11th with an 81/76/157 (+13).  Juniors Nick Adjutant (Rochester, N.H.) and Brad Auclair (Cumberland, R.I.) both shot 80 (+8) on the day, and each ended up finishing mid-pack, Adjutant tied for 13th with an 78/80/158 (+14) and Auclair for 15th with a 79/80/159 (+15). Freshman Chris Pasto (Newton, N.H.) shot a 79 (+7) on the day to wrap up his weekend with an 82/79/161 (+17) which was good enough to tie for 17^th.

Bentley took the top spot in the team scoreboard, as well as the individual board with Malcolm Oliver taking the win shooting a 70/73/143 (-1) on the tournament. Southern New Hampshire finished second, and saw two of their guys finish in the top four of the tournament with Jake Nutter and John Clancy. After Franklin Pierce in third, the Ravens were followed by American International, Saint Rose, Saint Anselm, Assumption, and Saint Michael's.
