Men's Basketball: Trumper Leads the way with 25 Points but Ravens Come Up Short To Saint Michael's 74-62

COLCHESTER, VT (11/21/2023) -- The Franklin Pierce men's basketball team lost their second straight conference road game Tuesday night at the Ross Sports Center 74-62 to St. Michael's.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Junior forward Sean Trumper (Ashford, United Kingdom) led all scorers with 25 points, shot 7 for 14 from the field, and was 10 for 12 from the free throw line.
• St. Michael's outscored Franklin Pierce 38-30 in the first half.
• The Ravens and Purple Knights traded baskets in the second half, but St. Michael's held on to win 74-62.

BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS:
• Franklin Pierce shot 32% from the field (19 for 59). St. Michael's shot 47% from the field (27 for 58)
• Franklin Pierce shot 24% from behind the arc (5 for 21). St. Michael's shot 33% from behind the arc (9 for 27).
