WALTHAM, Mass. (February 22, 2020) – Franklin Pierce University men's basketball freshman Sean Bresnan (Yonkers, N.Y.)  put up 15 points and a team-high seven rebounds during the Ravens 105-72 loss to Northeast-10 Conference opponent Bentley University Saturday at the Dana Center.

The win stops the Falcons six-game skid and moves their mark to 17-10, 9-9 NE10 while the no. 9 regionally-ranked Ravens fall to 15-10, 10-8 NE10.

Bresnan shot 6-of-9 (66.7%) on the afternoon with a 3-of-4 (75%) showing from beyond the arc for the new personal best. He matched his career-high rebound mark that he set versus Holy Family on November 10th.

Sophomore guard Isaiah Moore (Temple Hills, Md.) has continued his strong play as of late pitching in a team-high 18 points off 53.3% (8-of-15) field goal efficiency Falu Seck (Washington, D.C.) was the only other Raven in double figures with 11 markers. Sean Fasoyiro (Houston, Texas) tallied nine points, four rebounds, and two assists in 22 minutes off the bench.

Guards Mason Webb and Seth Stankiewicz powered the Bentley attack with 26 and 23 points respectively. Stankiewicz drilled 7-of-10 (70%) of his long-range attempts as the Falcons as a team hit 16 threes (47.1%) and were 39-for-72 (54.2%) in the showdown. They also outrebounded Pierce 49-to-26 and got more bench points from their reserves.

Brian Kinsey-Wright kicked off action hitting a triple. Bresnan and Moore knocked down jumpers keeping the Ravens within one in the early going. Five in a row from the shot of Webb opened up the first two-possession margin of the game, 10-4. The game stayed within two possessions at the 8:42 mark following a Moore layup then Bentley exploded for 11 straight points to lead 36-20 via a Stankiewicz triple. The Falcons doubled up the Ravens through the remainder of the stanza to hold a 54-29 advantage.

In the second half, the Ravens dropped the deficit to 20 points a few times, but the Falcons built the lead to 30+ and to a game-high 36 points with 51 seconds left.

Franklin Pierce, the no. 3 seed in the Northeast Division will end their regular season before they set their sights on the conference tournament on Tuesday on the road at Assumption College (13-12, 7-11 NE10) at 7:30 p.m.
