Fadojutimi Selected to Second Team, Moore Garners All-Rookie Team Nod

RINDGE, N.H. (March 5, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University men's basketball junior guard Doyin Fadojutimi (Temple Hills, Md.) has been honored by the Northeast-10 Conference as an All-Conference Second Team selection while teammate freshman guard Isaiah Moore (Temple Hills, Md.) was chosen to the All-Rookie team the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Fadojutimi snags his first yearly award after being chosen to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll five times this season. The team captain appeared in 29 games for the Ravens including 27 starts and set new personal bests in three-point percentage (36.6%), three-point conversions (68), points (481), rebounds (157), assists (58), steals (45) and blocks (42). He led the Crimson and Grey in scoring averaging 16.6 points per game and rebounding at 5.4 boards per contest. His 1.4 blocks per game ranked second in the NE10 and his 1.6 steals per game came tied for second in the conference. Fadojutimi was one of only two players in the league who averaged over 1.0 blocks and steals a game.

Fadojutimi recorded his second career double-double in the season-opening defeat to Dominican (N.Y.) on November 10, 2018, scoring 18 points and grabbing a season-high 12 rebounds. He also had 10 games with 20 or more points including a career-high 33 markers in a 99-92 victory at Saint Michael's on November 20, 2018. The junior tallied nine games with four or more three-pointers and knocked down six treys during an 89-76 win versus Merrimack on February 13, 2019. He set a new personal-best with six steals on December 8, 2018, against Saint Rose. He blocked a career-high four shots twice at Saint Michael's (11/20) and against Pace on January 16, 2019.  

Moore, a two-time NE10 Rookie of the Week played in all 29 games for Pierce and earned a start in 20 of them. He ranked fourth on the Crimson and Grey in scoring averaging 9.2 points per game and was third in assists averaging 2.4 helpers per contest. Moore had 14 games of double-digit scoring and scored a career-high 17 points on 6-of-12 (50%) shooting at Saint Anselm on February 9, 2019. He knocked down four three-pointers at Merrimack on December 5, 2018. and recorded four games of five or more assists including a career-best seven dimes at Caldwell on November 14, 2018. Moore came up with a personal-best four thefts versus Dominican (N.Y.) on November 10, 2018.

The Ravens finished the year at 15-14 overall and 11-10 in conference play.
