Field Hockey: Ravens fall to Bentley, 7-0

Waltham, Mass.- Bentley University defeats Franklin Pierce University with a final score of 7-0. 

Raven Standouts:

Zoe Noorlag had 8 saves. She leads the NE10 with 153 and is 5th in the nation with a .798 save percentage.

In the first half, Bentley took an early lead with a goal from Britney Pearson, assisted by Stephanie Drapas, just 45 seconds into the game. Madison Halas extended Bentley's lead to 2-0 with a goal assisted by Gracie Moore.

The second half saw Bentley dominating the game. Lida Coco scored for Bentley, with an assist from Katie Thies, bringing the score to 3-0. Isabella Tuccio added another goal for Bentley, assisted by Madison Halas. Emma Donahue also scored for Bentley, with no assist.

In the final quarter, Bentley continued to dominate the game. Amy Pasquale scored an unassisted goal, followed by Stephanie Drapas, assisted by Hannah Blomquist.

Bentley had a total of 19 shots on goal, with 15 shots on target. Franklin Pierce, on the other hand, only managed 3 shots in the entire game, none of which were on target. Bentley's goalkeeper, Erin McGuinness, had an easy game with no shots on goal from Franklin Pierce.

Franklin Pierce's goalkeeper, Zoe Noorlag, made 8 saves throughout the game, but couldn't prevent Bentley from securing a comprehensive victory.

Bentley had control of the game, with a total of 10 penalty corners compared to Franklin Pierce's 4.


Overall, Bentley's strong offensive performance and solid defense led them to a convincing 7-0 victory over Franklin Pierce. This win improves Bentley's overall record to 12-6, with a conference record of 10-3. Franklin Pierce's record drops to 6-10, with a conference record of 5-8.

 

The Ravens will take the field one more time at home against American International on Saturday October 28 for senior day at noon.
