Furthermore, the team earned the NFHCA’s National Academic Team Award.

The following Ravens earned National Academic Squad accolades: sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Barnes (Greenwich, N.Y.), junior midfielder Allison Collins (Sandown, N.H.), junior forward Madison Gagnon (Milford, N.H.), senior back Rachael Graves (Glenburn, Maine), senior forward Dayna Kowesky (Leominster, Mass.), freshman forward Annabel Lee (North Kingstown, R.I.), junior forward Emma McGonagle (Rowley, Mass.), senior midfielder Raegan Moulton (Baldwinville, Mass.), senior forward Ashley Silva (Laconia, N.H.), junior back Jessica Strassburg (Longmeadow, Mass.) and sophomore back Nicole Thibeault (Turners Falls, Mass.).

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have posted a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher through the fall semester.

The Ravens earned the National Academic Team Award -- which requires a team GPA of 3.0 or higher -- for the 13th time overall, and the fourth year in a row, with a semester GPA of 3.25.

Franklin Pierce has now had 158 selections to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, all since 2000, an average of 8.32 student-athletes per season over the last 19 years. Graves, Kowesky and Moulton became the 19th, 20th and 21st Franklin Pierce players to be four-year National Academic Squad honorees. Meanwhile, McGonagle earned her third selection in as many years, while Barnes, Collins, Gagnon, Strassburg and Thibeault were each honored for the second time in their careers. Lee and Silva were both first-time honorees for the Ravens, who have now had 70 different players honored under the National Academic Squad program.
