Baillargeon Baillargeon is one of two Ravens headed to the NFHCA North/South Senior Game.

RINDGE, N.H. (November 11, 2010) – Senior midfielders Jordan Baillargeon (Westfield, Mass.) and Kayla Simeone (North Kingstown, R.I.) of the Franklin Pierce University field hockey team have both been selected to represent the North Squad at the National Field Hockey Coaches Association North/South Senior Game, as announced by the NFHCA. The game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the University of Louisville.

The duo will join 17 of their Northeast-10 Conference brethren for an all-star game against the South Squad. The Ravens have now had players named to the game in two of the last three seasons, as Steph Howard and Kayleigh Jaksina made the trip in 2008 at the end of their senior season.

An integral piece of the puzzle at both ends of the field, Baillargeon is tied for fourth on the team in scoring with 10 points. She has scored a career-high four goals, including one game-winner, while adding two assists and has started in all 18 games. Baillargeon is currently on a two-game point-scoring streak, with a goal against Saint Michael's on Senior Day on Saturday and an assist Wednesday night against Southern Connecticut State.

Simeone has chalked up six points and is tied for the team lead with five assists to rank third on the team with 17 points, while starting in all but one game for the Ravens. Four of her goals came in the same game on Sept. 29 against Saint Anselm to set a new school record. Simeone added an assist in that game to record a school-record nine points in a single game as well. She is currently on a three-game point-scoring streak of her own, with an assist each against Saint Anselm and Saint Michael's last week before netting two goals Wednesday night against SCSU.

The Ravens wrapped up the regular season at 9-9 and finished in a three-way tie for fourth-place with a 6-4 record in the Northeast-10. Franklin Pierce ended up with the sixth seed and will travel to American International for the quarterfinal round of the Northeast-10 Championship on Tuesday, Nov. 16. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Ronald J. Abdow Field in Springfield, Mass.
