Taylor Ewen enters his third season as a part of the football coaching staff at Franklin Pierce University in 2020-21. He serves as the team's assistant head coach, defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
Franklin Pierce is the third collegiate coaching stop for Ewen, who comes to Rindge after three seasons (2015-17) as the defensive line coach at Division III Husson University in Bangor, Maine. During his time in The Queen City of the East, the Eagles made back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Championship in 2016 and 2017. Ewen also coached the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
Prior to Husson, Ewen spent one season (2014) coaching the offensive line as a graduate assistant at Division II Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. He began his coaching career as an undergraduate at the Division III level, as he served as a student assistant coach with the offensive line for two seasons (2012-13) at Anna Maria College.
Prior to moving to the sideline at Anna Maria, Ewen was a three-year starter on the offensive line for the AMCATS, including an ECFC Academic All-Conference selection.
Originally from Derry, N.H., Ewen is a 2014 graduate of Anna Maria College, where he double-majored in business administration and sport management. He earned his master's degree from Lindenwood University in 2016.
