RINDGE, N.H. (March 2, 2016) – Senior right fielder Max DiTondo (Marshfield, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league office. In addition, freshman Sarah Busse (Commack, N.Y.) of the bowling team has been named East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week and two other Ravens have landed on the Weekly Honor Roll in their respective sport.

DiTondo, a member of the starting lineup for the first time at the collegiate level, enjoyed a breakout first week at the plate. In a 5-0 week for the Ravens, he hit .467/.526/.933 (AVG/OBP/SLG) over 15 at-bats (7-for-15), with one double and two home runs. Along the way, DiTondo scored six runs, drove in nine, drew three walks against two strikeouts, hit one sacrifice fly and stole five bases in five attempts.

As for Busse, she averaged 197.2 pins over the weekend at the Hawk Flight Invitational, hosted by Monmouth, including a single-game high of 226. Among all bowlers at the event, her average ranked 36th.

- John Amendola (Wallingford, Conn.), baseball -- The sophomore transfer made his first start as a Raven on Saturday against Queens (N.Y.). Over seven shutout innings, he allowed four hits, did not issue a walk and struck out eight to pick up the win.

- Jessica Davies (Cape Coral, Fla.), bowling (East Coast Conference) -- The sophomore averaged 214.4 pins over the weekend at the Hawk Flight Invitational, which was good for 28th place.
