Store to launch in mid-September and will serve as a fundraiser for each team on the Rindge campus

RINDGE, N.H. (August 28, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with TeamWorld Corporate to produce a new online store, which will feature various clothing options that will enable Ravens fans to wear their favorite sports gear while cheering on their favorite teams.

The new online store will debut in mid-September and can be found at the department's official website, http://athletics.franklinpierce.edu(.) The store will be open year around. A portion of the sales will be returned to Franklin Pierce Athletics as the online store will serve as a fundraiser for each sport, which will help to enhance the overall experience for student-athletes on the Rindge campus.

The store will give fans several different options to choose from, including apparel color, athletics logo, and for the first time, the sport's name proudly displayed on the garment. When a sport is selected for a piece of apparel, a portion of that sale will go directly to the team.

There will be all kinds of apparel to choose from, including numerous selections in men's and women's sizes. Nike products will also be a staple of the items for sale in the store. Apparel that will be featured include: short sleeve and long sleeve cotton t-shirts, moisture wicking shirts, crew and hooded sweatshirts, polo shirts, Nike polo shirts, Nike fleece tops, hats and visors, winter hats, soft shell jackets, full and 1/4 zip fleece tops, fleece vests, ladies yoga pants, fleece blankets and duffel bags.

With the creation of the new online store, Franklin Pierce Athletics will also have the opportunity to offer online specials around the holiday season, gift packages and gift certificates. Fans are encouraged to be on the lookout for various promotions and in-game contests at several sporting events to earn gift certificates to the online store.
