Franklin Pierce Athletics to Video Stream Home Games Live Online this Season

Fans can follow Ravens home games via video, audio and live stats during the 2012-13 season

RINDGE, N.H. (August 27, 2012) --
The Franklin Pierce University Department of Athletics announced on Monday that it will begin providing live, pay-per-view online video broadcasts of several home games during the 2012-13 athletic season. Also announced on Monday was that the department will also be providing free in-game live stats at all home sporting events.

The initiative is being done to enable Ravens fans throughout the world the opportunity to better follow their teams and student-athletes.

Fans can watch video broadcasts of home games for a fee of $6.00 per game. The one-time charge per game enables fans to watch the archived broadcast as well to relive all of the exciting moments, which are sure to happen during the year.

A "Video" link for selected home games will be available on each team's schedule page, along with being placed on the Raven Sports Network page http://athletics.franklinpierce.edu/information/multimedia/RavensSportsNetwork/index(.) A link for archived broadcasts will be placed at the top of post-game recaps for each contest streamed online.

Through a Northeast-10 Conference initiative, Franklin Pierce Athletics will also be providing, free of charge, real-time statistics during all home games in the 2012-13 season. Every other NE-10 school will also be providing live stats for their home games so when the Ravens are on the road squaring off with a league foe, fans will still have the opportunity to follow the action as it happens.

In addition to these exciting, new initiatives, the Raven Sports Network will again provide audio broadcasts for nearly all home games during the upcoming season.

The 2012-13 home season kicks off this Saturday with a soccer doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m. when the women's soccer team takes on Caldwell in Sodexo Field. The men's soccer team follows at 8 p.m. by playing host to Caldwell. Both matches can be followed via video, audio and live stats.
