(January 30, 2012) – Seven Franklin Pierce University student-athletes have been named to the fall 2011 Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team in their respective sports, as announced recently by the Conference office. Men’s soccer senior forward Victor Goncalves (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), senior goalkeeper Vinny Papageorgiou (Wilmington, Mass.) and senior back Tom Reilly (Wallasey, England); field hockey senior forward Tia Levins (Manchester, Maine) and senior goalkeeper Brittany Nyzio (Attleboro, Mass.); and women’s soccer senior midfielder Aya Noguchi (Tokyo, Japan) and senior forward Amanda Panaro (Rockland, Mass.) were among 92 athletes across seven sports honored by the Northeast-10.

(November 9, 2011) – Franklin Pierce University women’s soccer senior standout Amanda Panaro (Rockland, Mass.) was named to the 2011 CoSIDA Academic All-District I Team on Wednesday for impressive accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. By being named to the all-district team, Panaro will now be considered for the Academic All-America Team, also sponsored by CoSIDA.

(November 3, 2011) – Four Franklin Pierce University women’s soccer players were honored by the Northeast-10 on Thursday by being named to one of the all-conference teams. Seniors Amanda Panaro (Rockland, Mass.) and Aya Noguchi (Tokyo, Japan) were named to the All-NE-10 second-team, while sophomores Gabriela Vieira (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Talita Pereira (Sao Paulo, Brazil) were named to the third-team. Pereira was also placed on the all-rookie team for her efforts.

The Ravens concluded their 2011 season with a 6-8-3 overall record and a 4-8-3 mark in the Northeast-10, while Adelphi finished at 8-7-1 and 7-7-1 in league play.
