(April 15, 2009) Sophomore defenseman Sean Carroll (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Thunder Ridge), junior forward Phil LaBreck (Thornton, N.H./John Stark Regional), senior forward Shane Murphy (Tolland, Conn./The Gunnery School), junior defenseman Rob Perretta (Staten Island, N.Y./Stanstead College (Quebec)), sophomore forward Sean Woodring (Rogue River, Ore./Rogue River) and senior forward Coursen Schneider (Stony Point, N.Y./Avon (Conn.) Old Farms) of the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team have all been named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Northeast All-Academic Team.

(March 3, 2009) Junior forward Phil LaBreck (Thornton, N.H./John Stark Regional) of the Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team has been named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference Second Team, as announced on Friday by the conference office. In addition, freshman forward Anthony Chighisola (Whitman, Mass./Williston Northampton) has been named to the conferences All-Rookie Team.

RINDGE, N.H. (February 28, 2009) Five different players recorded two points each on Saturday afternoon to lead sixth-seeded Stonehill to a 5-0 victory over the third-seeded Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team in the quarterfinal round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at The Winchendon School Ice Arena. Five different players scored goals for Stonehill. Freshman goaltender Ben Siok (Holden, Mass./St. Johns Shrewsbury) made 31 saves for Franklin Pierce in defeat.
Ice Hockey To Host Stonehill In First Round Of Northeast-10 Conference Championships

RINDGE, N.H. (February 27, 2009) The third-seeded Franklin Pierce University ice hockey team will host a postseason game for the first time in program history on Saturday afternoon, when it plays host to sixth-seeded Stonehill in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships. Faceoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at The Winchendon School Ice Arena in Winchendon, Mass. The winner advances to play in a semifinal contest on Wednesday, March 4.

Sophomore forward Sean Woodring (Rogue River, Ore./Rogue River) scored twice for Franklin Pierce in defeat.
