Phil LaBreck has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly
Honor Roll.RINDGE, N.H. (February 9, 2009) –
Junior forward Phil LaBreck
(Thornton, N.H./John Stark Regional) of the Franklin Pierce
University ice hockey team has been named to the Northeast-10
Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Feb. 8, as
announced Monday by the conference office.
LaBreck finished the week with four points on two goals and two
assists. At Saint Anselm on Feb. 3, he scored his sixth goal of the
season at the 3:11 mark of the first period and later added his
seventh of the season 7:31 into the second frame. His first goal
was the initial score of the contest, while his second of the night
tied the game 2-2 at the time.
LaBreck would then add an assist on Coursen Schneider’s sixth
goal of the season at the 11:08 mark of the third. The goal tied
the game 4-4 and forced overtime.
On Saturday at Massachusetts Dartmouth, LaBreck assisted on
Franklin Pierce’s only goal of the game, Shane Murphy’s
sixth of the season at the 8:22 mark of the third
The Ravens (5-13-2, 1-2-0, NE-10, 4-8-2 ECAC Northeast) return to
the ice on Thursday, Feb. 12, when they return home to host
Southern New Hampshire in a Northeast-10 Conference contest.
Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at The Winchendon School Ice Arena
in Winchendon, Mass.
