(2/2/23) – A grand total of fifteen Franklin Pierce student-athletes from across seven fall sports continued to set the standard in the classroom, and were recently selected to the Northeast-10 Conference’s Academic All-Conference team. The official  announcement came from the league offices on Thursday (2/2/23) afternoon.

GREENWOOD, Ind. (11/28/22) – The latest round of academic honors was announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) last week, rewarding four members of the Franklin Pierce volleyball team for their efforts in the classroom. The recipients were named to the Academic All-District I First Team, and consisted of seniors Tessa Brandt (Foster, R.I.), Britney Loyd (Coppell, Texas) and Mariah Robles (West Covina, Calif.), as well as junior Morgan Schmutzler (Lockport, Ill.). Their selection automatically qualifies them for consideration to the Academic All-America ballot.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – As the 2022 campaign officially came to a close for the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team, a pair of Ravens were named as recipients of Northeast-10 All-Conference honors, as the league officially announced its end-of-season awards midday Friday. Per the announcement, senior opposite hitter Mariah Robles (West Covina, Calif.) was named to the All-Conference Third Team, while first year setter Annaka Lindstrom (Dudley, Mass.) garnered an All-Rookie Team selection.

Despite a strong performance in the opening set, the end result came as a 3-0 loss for the Ravens, whose season came to a close on Thursday evening by set scores of 25-23, 25-16 and 25-15.

In a 2-0 week for the Ravens, junior libero Morgan Schmutzler (Lockport, Ill.) was named the conferences Libero of the Week, while freshman setter Annaka Lindstrom (Dudley, Mass.) took home Rookie of the Week honors.
