PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (May 11, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University women's rowing team made program history on Friday as it entered a varsity-eight boat for the first time ever at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa. The boat finished fifth in its event in a time of 8:04.402 and qualified for the Division II second level final, which will be held on Saturday at 5 p.m.

(April 15, 2012) -- The Franklin Pierce University women's rowing team sent three boats into competition this past weekend in a race against Coast Guard, UMass-Lowell and Colby College on the Merrimac River in Lowell, Mass. The Ravens featured a varsity-eight boat, varsity-four boat and a novice-four boat. The eight and novice boats finished in fourth place in their respective races, while the varsity-four placed fifth.

(April 5, 2012) -- Fresh off a victory against three other teams last weekend, the Franklin Pierce University women's rowing team and its varsity-four boat are being recognized both regionally and nationally by a pair of polls this week. The four boat is ranked third in the latest NCAA East Region Poll, which came out on Tuesday, while it's also receiving honorable-mention votes for the CRCA/US Rowing Division II National Poll, which came out on Wednesday.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (November 1, 2011) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's rowing team had a strong showing this past weekend at the Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The men's varsity four squad finished 12th out of 38 teams in its event in a time of 12:56.52. The team finished ahead of four Division I schools in the standings, including Vermont, Albany, Binghamton and Stony Brook.
