Men's & Women's Rowing Compete at 2011 New England Championships

WORCESTER, Mass. (April 30, 2011) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's and women's rowing teams competed at the 2011 New England Rowing Championships on Saturday. The varsity-four squads from both teams took part in the event, as the men's team finished third in the third final, while the women's team placed fourth in the petite final.
Men's Rowing Places Third at River Hawk Series #1 this Past Weekend

WORCESTER, Mass. (April 11, 2011) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's rowing team competed in the River Hawk Series #1 Race this weekend at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The team put an entry into the men's varsity-four race and placed third in a time of 7:07.8. UMass-Lowell won the race in a time of 6:40.
Rowing Finishes Fifth in Men's Varsity-Four Race at Clark Invitational this Past Weekend

WORCESTER, Mass. (April 4, 2011) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's rowing team took part in the Clark Invitational Race this past weekend at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The Ravens entered a team in the men's varsity-four race and finished fifth in a time of 8:09.7.

HADLEY, Mass. (March 28, 2011) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's rowing team returned to action this past weekend for its 2011 spring season-opener, and the Ravens placed third in the men's varsity four-plus race in a time of 7:56 at the Mass-Maritime/FPU/Amherst Tri-Meet on the Connecticut River in Hadley, Mass.

RINDGE, N.H. (October 31, 2010) -- The Franklin Pierce University men's and women's rowing teams concluded their 2010 fall schedules this past weeked by competing in the Head of the Fish Regatta. The weekend was highlighted by the men's collegiate pair team of Dan Forget (East Lyme, Conn.) and Tristan Pagliari (White Plains, N.Y.), as the duo finished second in their race in a time of 14:01.58. The duo, along with the other three groups that competed this weekend, squared off against some of the top rowing programs in the Northeast and in Canada.
Franklin Pierce Rowing Finishes 12th at Lowell Textile Regatta

RINDGE, N.H. (October 4, 2010) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s rowing team competed at the Lowell Textile Regatta on Sunday and its men’s varsity-four team finished 12th out of 27 teams in its respective event. It marked the first race of the 2010 fall season for the Ravens rowers.
