(May 27, 2010) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s lacrosse team finished the 2010 season ranked fifth in the final edition of the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Poll (NEILA), which was released earlier this month. It marks the highest finish for the Ravens in program history.

(May 3, 2010) – Franklin Pierce University freshman defender Ben McDannell (Morrisville, Pa.) was named to the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Lacrosse All-Rookie Team on Monday afternoon, as announced by the league. McDannell appeared in all 13 games this season with 12 starts and helped anchor one of the top penalty-killing units in the Northeast-10. Franklin Pierce ranked second in the league this season in both fewest man-up goals allowed (11) and penalty-kill percentage (77.6%).

RINDGE, N.H. (May 1, 2010) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s lacrosse team held a second-half lead, but could not hang on as it concluded the 2010 season with a tough 17-10 setback to Pace at Sodexo Field in Rindge on Saturday. The Ravens concluded the campaign with a 5-8 overall record and a 2-8 mark in the Northeast-10 Conference. Despite the setback, the Ravens set a program record for wins in a single season while also going an impressive 4-3 at home during the campaign.

The Franklin Pierce University men’s lacrosse team snapped its losing streak on Monday night with a thrilling 11-10, last-minute win over Assumption at Sodexo Field in Rindge. Freshman attack Brendan Cahill (Hollis, N.H.) broke the 10-all tie by scoring the game-winning goal off a nifty feed from Matthew Leslie (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) with just 1:05 left to play in the game.

(March 24, 2010) – Sophomore midfielder Ryan Dintaman (Northfield, Mass.) scored four goals and added an assist to total five points on Wednesday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University men’s lacrosse team to a 12-10 victory over American International in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Junior attack Nate Wood (Binghamton, N.Y.) also scored five points for the Ravens on three goals and two assists. Graduate student midfielder Mike Szawlowski led American International with two goals and one assist for three points.

(March 22, 2010) -- Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse attack Brendan Cahill (Hollis, N.H.) was named the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week on Monday for his efforts in helping to lead the Ravens to an 8-6 win at Mercy last Thursday. Cahill scored a pair of goals and assisted on three others to register a five-point afternoon for the Ravens.

The Ravens improved to 1-0, while the Bison dipped to 0-1. The win also came in the opener for new head coach Rick Senatore, who took over the reigns of the program following last season.
