Records: FPU 4-14 (4-9 NE10), AIC 6-11 (4-9)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Nearing the end of the first quarter, Rebecca Phillips (West Amwell, N.J.) forced a turnover around midfield and would take the ball up the field all on her own. She would then send it to Vanessa Fritschy (Methuen, Mass.) who would pass it right back to Phillips for a shot and a goal.

  • With five minutes to go in the first half, what started with a penalty corner, would result in a Ravens goal. Lily Zavras (Worcester, Mass.) found Cecelia Keller in front of the cage and would then pass it towards Reese Swanson (Somerset, Mass.) for the 2-0 lead.

  • The second half would remain without an additional tally as the play continued to go back-and-forth between the two teams competing for a spot in the NE10 playoffs. The Ravens would eventually remain on top and clinch 8th place.
