Ashley Moirano has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly
Honor Roll.

RINDGE, N.H. (October 20, 2008) –
Sophomore midfielder Ashley
Moirano (Vero Beach, Fla./South Burlington (Vt.)) of the
Franklin Pierce University field hockey team has been named to the
Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on
Oct. 19, as announced Monday by the conference office.
Moirano notched seven points with three goals and an assist over
three games in a 1-2 week for the Ravens. She scored the lone goal
of the game for the Ravens in losses to No. 6 Bentley and No. 9
Stonehill on Tuesday and Saturday, respectively. In between she
tallied a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over American
International on Thursday. Moirano has now scored a goal in four
consecutive games, is tied for the team lead with five goals for
the season and ranks second on the team with 13 points.
The Ravens (7-10, 7-9 NE-10) return to the field on Wednesday, Oct.
22 when they host Saint Michael’s in a Northeast-10
Conference contest. The final home game of the season for Franklin
Pierce is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Sodexo Field in Rindge.
