Volleyball Collects AVCA Academic Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 28, 2021) -- The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team has chalked up a pair of academic honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association, which were announced earlier this month. The Ravens earned the AVCA’s Team Academic Award for the 11th time in program history, and were also named to the Team Academic Honor Roll.
Volleyball’s Ivanova Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. (June 17, 2021) -- Senior libero Ellie Ivanova (Sofia, Bulgaria) of the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team, as announced last week by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). As a result of the selection, Ivanova will also advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
Volleyball Drops Season Finale at Saint Anselm, 3-0

MANCHESTER, N.H. (April 22, 2021) – Sophomore Mariah Robles (West Covina, Calif.) hit .529 with 10 kills on Thursday night, but the rest of the Franklin Pierce University volleyball team mustered just 15 more kills in the match, as the Ravens suffered a 3-0 defeat (25-18, 25-20, 25-22) on the road at Saint Anselm to wrap up their spring season. Freshman Audrey Simmons hammered out 10 kills and hit .391 to lead the way for the Hawks at Soutenburgh Gym.
Volleyball Splits Pair of Five-Setters with Stonehill

RINDGE, N.H. (April 18, 2021) -- It wound up as quite the busy day in the Fieldhouse on Sunday. The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team and Stonehill squared off in a doubleheader, and both matches went the distance. Each side took one of the five-set contests, with Stonehill picking up a 3-2 win in the opener (25-21, 25-27, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12), and Franklin Pierce answering with a 3-2 victory in the second match (25-23, 17-25, 25-23, 17-25, 15-8).
Ravens Drop Close Battle to AIC 3-0 on Senior Night

The Franklin Pierce University volleyball team returned to action on Tuesday in The Fieldhouse and were upended 3-0 (20-25, 22-25, 23-25) by American International University on Senior Night. The win sends the Yellow Jackets to 2-0 and the setback was the second of the year for the Ravens.
Raven Net Presence Not Enough in Volleyball Defeat at AIC

The Franklin Pierce University volleyball program hit the hardwood for the first time in 476 calendar days when they traveled to American International College and were beaten in five sets 3-2 (22-25, 25-11. 25-23, 21-25, 11-15) by the Yellow Jackets Tuesday night at the Henry A. Butova Gymnasium. The setback sends the Ravens to 0-1 while the Yellow Jackets move to 1-0 on the year.
