Findley Named NE-10 Setter Of The Week

Clinton Conn., native earns second weekly honor of her collegiate career

RINDGE, N.H. (October 20, 2003) – Franklin Pierce senior Bethany Findley (Clinton, Conn./Morgan School) was named the Northeast-10 Conference volleyball Setter of the Week by the Conference office on Monday.

On the season, Findley leads the Franklin Pierce volleyball team with an average of 9.81 assists per game. This past week, she averaged 11.25 per game in a 2-2 week for the Ravens and also had 2.06 digs per game.

Findley recorded 60 assists against Saint Anselm in a tough 3-2 loss for the Ravens and had a 41-assist performance in a 3-1 loss to Merrimack

She registered 40 assists in Franklin Pierce’s 3-0 victory over Assumption and 39 in its 3-1 win over Southern Connecticut.

Findley first earned Northeast-10 Setter of the Week honors as a freshman in October 2000.

Franklin Pierce (10-11, 4-9 NE-10) returns to action tonight, when it travels to Keene State for a non-League match at 7 p.m.
