Nouhayla Errahili Chosen as the NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Year

MANSFIELD, Mass. (3/7/23) – The Northeast-10 Conference officially unveiled its major award winners from the Indoor Track and Field season, announcing sophomore high jumper Nouhayla Errahili (Fez, Morocco) as the Women's Field Rookie of the Year, per the official announcement made on Tuesday, March 7th.

Over the course of the season, Errahili claimed two Field Rookie of the Week awards in addition to a single Field Athlete of the Week honor. It is the first time in her collegiate career receiving a major award from the Northeast-10 for indoor track and field.

This past season, Errahili was crowned the New England Champion in the Women's High Jump at the NEICAAA Championships, clearing a height of 1.70 meters to become the 13th individual in program history to win a title. At the recent NE10 Championship Meet, Errahili claimed second in the Women's High Jump, clearing a bar of 1.71 meters to match a previous conference record. The Raven sophomore will also be the only Pierce representative at the upcoming 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, which will take place this coming Friday, March 10th and Saturday, March 11th at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
