Errahili Named NE10 Women's Indoor Field Rookie of the Week

MANSFIELD, Mass. (1/31/23) – As the weekly awards from around the Northeast-10 Conference began to roll in, news broke that sophomore high-jumper Nouhayla Errahili (Fez, Morocco) was named the NE10's Women's Indoor Field Rookie of the Week, per the official announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

For Errahili, it is her first time receiving the indoor weekly honor, as it is her first season as a member of the Franklin Pierce indoor track and field team. Perviously, she has won the honor twice as an outdoor participant.

Errahili had a solid showing as a first place finisher in the Women's High-Jump at the University of Southern Maine Husky Invitational this past Saturday, clearing a height of 1.67 meters. The effort was good for NCAA provisional standards, as she helped the women's team round out fifth overall against twelve other competitors.

Women's indoor track and field gears up for a busy weekend, with part of the group attending the 2023 NEICAAA Championships on Thursday, February 2nd and Friday, February 3rd in at The TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts. The majority of the Ravens will spend Saturday at the Plymouth Winter Classic, hosted by Plymouth State University.
