Women’s Track & Field’s Errahili Named NE10 Field Rookie of the Year

Nouhayla Errahili

Northeast-10 Conference women's outdoor track & field awards

EASTON, Mass. (May 24, 2022) -- Freshman Nouhayla Errahili (Fes, Morocco) of the Franklin Pierce University women's track & field team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Errahili was the NE10's top performer in the high jump on the season, as she got up and over 1.73 meters at the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT on April 23. The mark was good enough to tie her for 11th in the nation, and earned her a spot in the NCAA Championships, which are scheduled for later this week at Grand Valley State.

It is the sixth NE10 "of the Year" award in the history of the women's program, as well as the fifth time a Raven has earned Rookie of the Year honors on the women's side. Adding in the awards from the men's program, that is now eight all-time major end-of-season awards for Ravens track & field.

It is the women's program's fourth major award for a high jumper alone, as current senior Paola Brena earned NE10 Field Rookie of the Year honors for both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2018-19, as well as Field Athlete of the Year accolades for the 2019-20 indoor campaign.
