Ferraz, Penalver Fly High For Women's Tennis at ITA East Regional Championships
FLUSHING, N.Y. (9/27/22) – The Franklin Pierce women's tennis team rose to the occasion this past weekend at the ITA East Regional Championship held at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
Juniors Aynara Ferraz (Canary Islands, Spain) and Maria Penalver Aguilo (Las Palmas, Spain) each had notable performances through the tournament, with each reaching the final round as a doubles pairing, and Ferraz additionally achieving the semifinal in singles competition.
