Northeast-10 Women's Soccer Weekly Report

MANSFIELD, Mass. (August 30, 2022) -- Freshman Mollie Cahalane (Merrimac, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's soccer team has been named as Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon by the league office.

Cahalane hit the ground running on Friday, as she struck for a pair of goals in her collegiate debut. She tallied the game-winning goal in the first half and later added an insurance marker as the Ravens opened the campaign with a 3-0 win over Staten Island on the first day of the SCSU Women's Soccer Classic at Southern Connecticut State. Cahalane recorded three shot attempts in the game, all of which were on goal. She contributed minutes of the bench in both games last week, as the Ravens opened the season with a pair of victories.

Cahalane and the Ravens (2-0-0) are back in action on Wednesday, Aug. 31, when they travel to Bentley for a non-conference contest at 3:30 p.m. in Waltham, Mass.
