The Ravens, seeded third in the tournament, will take on sixth-seeded Adelphi, with the winner advancing to the semifinal round next Thursday.

Franklin Pierce is coming off a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Saint Anselm in the regular season-finale on Wednesday. Freshman midfielders Jannice Sundqvist (Hamosand, Sweden) and Aya Noguchi (Tokyo, Japan), and junior forward Amanda Panaro (Rockland, Mass.) each scored for the Ravens in the win. For Sundqvist, it was her fifth tally of the season, which leads all rookies on the team in that category. Panaro’s goal was her 18th of the season, as she led the NE-10 in tallies for the regular season.

The Ravens concluded the regular season with a 12-4-1 overall record and a 10-4-1 mark in Northeast-10 play. One of their losses came in a 2-0 setback at Adelphi back on Oct. 8 in Garden City, N.Y.
