2007: Saw limited action as a reserve in six matches as a true freshman. Made her first collegiate appearance in the team's 9-0 win over Philadelphia (8/25).
Before Franklin Pierce: 2007 graduate of West Islip High School. Four-year letterwinner, serving as team captain as a senior. Played club soccer for Stony Brook Regional Premier and Albertson Fury Premier. Played for the Met Oval Super-Y team as a junior and was a three-year member of Long Island Junior ODP. Played for U-23 Smithtown Barrage this past summer.
Personal: Born March 10, 1989, in West Islip, N.Y. Daughter of Kathleen and Karl Walter of West Islip. Has three sisters, Erin (17), Kelli (13) and Shannon (11), and two brothers, Brendan (15) and Sean (10). Father played soccer at Adelphi University. Majoring in elementary education, with a minor in psychology. Supports Manchester United. Lists Brandi Chastain as a favorite athlete. Plans to become either an elementary school teacher or school psychologist.
