Bio

2007: Appeared in 20 matches in her first season with the Ravens, starting 19 in goal. In 1830:58 of action, posted a 0.39 goals against average (4th in the nation), an .897 save percentage (2nd in the nation) and a 14-1-3 record with an Northeast-10-leading 13 shutouts. Her GAA and shutout total were both third all-time for a single season at Franklin Pierce. Made seven saves to earn the win in her first appearance and start with the Ravens against Holy Family (8/24). Started the last 15 matches of the season and gave up a combined six goals in that span. Did not concede a goal over the final 788:11 of the season, including all eight postseason games. Her 0.00 GAA over six NCAA Tournament matches set a Div. II record for a single tournament. Made eight saves in a 2-0 NCAA Semifinal win over Seattle Pacific (11/29). Stopped all four shots in 110 minutes of play and made one penalty-kick save in the National Championship match against Tampa (12/1). Named to the NCAA Championship All-Tournament team.

Before Franklin Pierce: Transfer from Grossmont College in San Diego, Calif. Played two seasons, serving as team captain. Team captured back-to-back Pacific Coast Conference Championships. Posted a program-record 18 shutouts over two seasons for the Griffins. Earned team's Most Inspirational Award. she was in the state top ten of goalkeepers both seasons. In two years she finished with a 0.48 goals against average in 25 games played. Ester was an All-Pacific Coast Conference selection in 2006. 2004 graduate of Toms River High School East. Four-year letterwinner, serving as captain. Earned All-State honors. Tremendous athlete earned a total of 12 varsity letters, also participating in basketball and lacrosse. Set school records for steals and assists, while also netting over 1,000 career points in basketball. Set a school record for goals scored in lacrosse.

Personal: Born August 11, 1986, in Toms River, N.J. Daughter of Albert and Natalie Ester of Toms River. Has a brother, Michael (24). Majoring in social work and counseling. Supports the New York Yankees. Lists Derek Jeter as a favorite athlete. Plans to pursue a Master's Degree in occupational therapy and start a summer camp for physically challenged teenagers.
